GUINNESS STOREHOUSE® Photo Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Entry to the GUINNESS STOREHOUSE® Photo Competition (the "Competition") is open to individuals aged 18 years or over (proof of age may be required). The Promoter's employees and those of any of its associated companies, employees of any agencies connected with this Promotion will not be eligible to enter (or otherwise participate in) this Promotion.

2. The promoter is GUINNESS STOREHOUSE®, St James's Gate, Dublin 8, Ireland.

3. No purchase necessary to enter the Competition.

4. To enter the Competition, participants must open an account on Pixie, a photo sharing community website, and upload their photos into the Competition. Visit http://pix.ie/group/guinness-storehouse-share-your-experience-photo-competition/upload?lang=EN for instructions on how to enter.

5. Entries into the Competition will not be accepted through any other channel.

6. All photos entered into the Competition will be subject to competition moderation. Photos judged for the Competition must be of the Guinness Storehouse interior or building exterior, views from the Guinness Storehouse itself, or an image that reminds the user of the Guinness Storehouse. Any pictures deemed to contain inappropriate content will be removed from the Competition*. See below for more details regarding the type of imagery not accepted in this Competition. (Standard Pixie terms of use also apply http://pix.ie/terms).

7. Photos entered into the Competition can only be submitted once. Each photo entered is only eligible to be submitted into one monthly photo competition during the year. There is no limit to the number of photos that an individual entrant can upload.

8. Closing your Pixie account or leaving the Group will automatically remove all photos from Group and the Competition.

9. One winning photo will be selected monthly starting from 1st August 2008.

10. Photos entered into the Competition may be displayed on the GUINNESS STOREHOUSE® website and 3D Photo Gallery. By entering the Competition, you hereby acknowledge this and grant the Promoter a license to display entered photos on pages of the GUINNESS STOREHOUSE® website relating to the Competition.

11. The Promoter fully respects your copyright in the photos you submit and does not claim ownership of any photos entered. Entrants however may be invited to participate in and/or feature their photos in future GUINNESS STOREHOUSE® marketing and promotional materials and/or events. In such cases, the Promoter will contact the relevant copyright holder in order to obtain permission.

12. Monthly winners will receive a prize of a digital photo frame. Allocation of prize(s) will be to individual(s) only. All winners will be notified by email and details of winners will be announced in the Winners Gallery on www.guinness-storehouse.com. No other correspondence will be entered into concerning the result and the Promoter’s decision is final.

13. All monthly winners will be entered into the annual competition to win a cash prize of €1,000. The first overall winner will be selected in January 2009.

14. The overall winning entry will be judged by an independent judging panel selected by the Promoter.

15. Prizes are not transferable, nor can they be exchanged for other goods and there is no cash alternative for winners of digital photo frames.

16. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Competition in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control.

17. The Promoter and its agents accept no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this competition.

18. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity.

19. The Competition and these terms are governed by Irish law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.

20. Entrants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions by entering the Competition. Participants personal data will be used in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy (copies to be obtained online at http://www.guinness-storehouse.com/popups/en/privacy.htm or by writing to the Promoter).

*Inappropriate imagery will include, but not exclusively

a. Images which condone or celebrate excessive drinking of alcohol
b. Images where persons consuming alcohol appear to be under the Legal Purchase Age in the Republic of Ireland i.e. 18 years of age.
c. Images which may be perceived as offensive to a particular gender, race or religion
d. Images which suggest any association with violence or with anti-social behaviour
e. Images which imply that alcohol consumption enhances sexual attractiveness
f. Images which imply that the consumption of alcohol is acceptable before or whilst operating machinery or driving a vehicle
g. Images that create the impression that alcohol consumption enhances mental ability or physical performance.
